Sustainability
The Volare Group has its roots in the oil trade and trading with combustibles and fuels. Sustainability is a particular concern for us because of this. We are developing solutions to reduce CO2 emissions and are supporting the energy revolution. We are making various contributions to ensure that the unavoidable transition period is as environmentally friendly as possible:
- We are adding more than five per cent biofuel to our diesel based on the Swiss standard. This prohibits competition in food production for the benefit of fuel.
- We are working on the development of storage-stable bio heating oil and CO2 neutral e-fuels.
- We value the energy efficiency of our company and constantly support measures to improve it further.
- We also place value on environmentally friendly construction methods for the new buildings we are responsible for.
